Progress on Our Bathroom

This is the new home of the shower. Tyler hasn't grouted and we still need to paint the walls. Any suggestions on a color. I'm excited for it to be done! Finally a normal sized shower.

Shelby Gets Solid Food

So Shelby had her first taste of solid food. The first time she didn't really like it but the second try she loved it. I had to make her two bowl-fulls, and she even wanted to hold the spoon herself. She is such a good eater. Yay!

She loves that spoon. What a big girl.

She wasn't too messy.

Our Bathroom

Tyler got got a little antsy this week being home for just a few days and decided it was time to do the tile in our bathroom. Hopefully it won't take very long, I really don't like being without a potty in our room.

So we decided to take out the teeny shower we had and just combine it with our tub so we will have more room. Tyler didn't fit well in the shower we had so it will now become a linen closet. We will have plenty of photos to show when it is done but here is what has been done so far.

The shower spot after it was ripped out.

The teeny tiny shower that no longer exists, yay!

Soon to be the new home of tile.

Tyler cutting out the shower, he'll tell you this was the most fun part.

Ripping up the carpet was much easier than I thought it would be, and kind of fun.

Millcreek Canyon

We went up Millcreek Canyon over Labor Day weekend, it was really pretty and surprisingly not too crowded.

Pretty little creek.

Look who's having fun with the cousins.

Sienna was having fun making her giggle.

Flowers in Our Yard

So I planted some flowers this year and some have grown well while others not so well. But I'm just happy that we have some color. I don't what all of them are but they are still pretty anyway. I planted some Canterbury bells but they died because Bently peed on them, stupid dog. They were really pretty while they lasted. maybe by a miracle they'll grow back next year.

Shelby @ 2 Months

Shelby is now two months. Things she has accomplished: smiling, squeling, sleeping 8 hours at night, discovered her hands, almost rolling over to her tummy, and many other things that I'm sure no one is interested in. But since she's the only little person I see all the time I have lots to report on her and be excited about. She is such a cutie. She likes everyone and always has a smile for everyone. It's super cute. By the way I think her eyes are going to be green, they are looking more green than blue. She's going to be so pretty.

She didn't like the bunny for very long.

Cutest smile

She's so photo genic

So cute...

Such a cute face.

Patio Work

Tyler has been collecting rocks from the mountains out where we live and he finally got enough to start a small patio in our back yard. Its not quite finished yet, but it's starting to look really nice.

What's been worked on so far.

The Cousins

We spent Sunday evening at my parents house and almost everyone was there (no Sarah, Phil, or Alex). But we had dinner and the little nieces really liked Shelby and I think they wanted to do more with her than just watch her sit in her bouncer. They were good though, no eye poking. Shelby will be good friends with them when she gets old enough.

She has really liked being able to sit up and not lay on the floor all the time.

More Cute Photos of Shelby

It's been fun to watch Shelby grow. She's starting to show her personality. She smiles and loves to get her exercise in. She's been a fun baby!

Happy Fourth of July

We had a great fourth of July. We were able to go to both families houses. Shelby slept through most of it, even the loud fireworks!
