Bedrest Projects...

I've been on bedrest for premature contractions since late September. So needless to say I've needed lots of projects to keep myself busy. Luckily I've found a few...

Shelby always thinks she wants something that I'm making, then once I make one for her, she doesn't want anything to do with it!

It's that time of year again. It's cold outside!

This was a baby blanket I made for a friend at work who is due the same time as me. I made it completely out of scraps; fabric, batting, and backing.

The blanket on the left is made with 3 layers of flannel, and is a rag quilt. The one on the right is made with the minky fabric (very soft)

Baby Hazel's Room

For this babies room I saw some fun vinyl stickers on Etsy, but since we have textured walls decided it would be better to paint the wall instead. Here's what it looks like:

This is the quilt I made for her crib. Tyler cut the letters himself with one of his handy tools.

Some of the trees have gold glaze on them.

Baby Hazel

We've decided to name the new baby Hazel. For her middle name we are having a hard time deciding on a middle name though. We've narrowed it down to Rose or Lizzie. Tyler thinks we should have the middle name be Nut, which is just silly.

Bye Bye to Uncle Eric

Tyler's brother, Eric, left on Sunday to go into the army. We will really miss him! Be careful Eric!!!

Fun Times With Daddy When He Gets Home From Work

Shelby's always so excited when her Daddy gets home. I think it's because he always does such fun things with her. Like:

Tossing her in the air

Tickling her with his whiskers

Giving her BIG ((hugs))

And letting her jump on the couch

Wheeler Farm

We went to Wheeler farm yesterday with the Garcia cousins and Grandpa and Grandma. It was cloudy but turned out to not be too bad of weather. Shelby was kind of cranky, but I think she still had fun. We got to see baby goats, sheep, and piglets. The piglets were cute they were running around being playful, which you don't really picture pigs as playful.

Shelby is so squirmy, she didn't want to hold still for the photo!

Grandma and the grand kids. Alyssa just has to be different.

We're minus one (Alyssa)

Yee Haw!

Look at all those geese and ducks! Are they hungry?

Here are the Other Briggs Happenings!

This is Shelby's newest play area, the pantry

Got sick of the green

Getting the garden ready, when there were a few good days

Practically impossible to flatten it out with so many rocks!

Shelby got a tutu, although I think I will buy one next time

Oops, Haven't Been on For a While!

I've decided its practically impossible to get anything posted on here with Shelby trying to sit on my lap while on the computer. So, it would seem that I'm only going to be averaging about every 3 - 4 months for a post!

This is Christmas

Shelby has to be right in the action!

Her new fun tent with a tunnel!

Yay! A baby and a stroller

The Christmas Eve jammies

And the fun snowman we made!
