Here are some photos from the most recent weeks of our life.

More Baby News

Tyler and I had our second appointment a week or so ago. It went ok we were able to hear the heart beat of the baby, but only for a few seconds. My tummy was too loud. I ate taco bell before we went, I will never do that again. The nurse said that it seemed like I had gas and that I was holding it in. Hello! I'm not going to pass gas while I'm at a doctor appointment.

Our Little Trip to Ophir

So Tyler and I decided to go for a little drive today. We ended up going in the direction of a little mining town called Ophir. It was pretty cute, but a surprise to see a little town nestled in a canyon. I'm sure very few people have heard of the little town. Here are some photos. It was pretty cold.

A Little Creek that had icicles growing out of it.

Another view of the little creek.

We were coming down the canyon at this point.

The cute little road.

I'm guessing was used for mining of some sort.

View of a Sunset on Utah Lake

This is a view of Utah Lake from our house one night, when it was pretty calm. I thought it was pretty awesome so I took some photos. Of course it was more amazing in person.

Rooms I've painted so far

So I've painted the kitchen, our bedroom, and our bathroom so far in our new house. Here are the photos of what I've done so far.

The kitchen is a light green; the bedroom is a dark chocolate brown, with a beige color; and then our bathroom is yellow.

I haven't painted the living room yet because I don't know what color to do. If you have any ideas or suggestions let me know. The wall will be next to the green wall in the kitchen.

Exercise Dogs

So we've been trying to decrease the energy the dogs have lately, because they run around all day wrestling each other. For them to go on walks is just no enough.

So we've instituted an exercise program for them. They get to run on the treadmill for about 15 to 20 minutes every day. They end up going about 2 miles every day.

Here are some videos of them. They're pretty cut.

It is extremely green there. What a lovely trail to Haceta Head Lighthouse.

Camping In Fairview

So we went camping a few weeks ago to fairview, it was pretty fun. We brought the dogs and usually they both enjoy swimming in the lake. This time, though, Bently was not having it. Diesel loved the water. He swam so much that day, he was so dead for 24 hours, which is unheard for him. He is the dog of endless energy. We would throw sticks into the lake for them to go fetch them and Diesel would faithfully swim out to the stick and retrieve it. Bently waited faithfully at the shore to steal the stick from Diesel as he swam in with it.

Diesel, what a good little swimmer.

Bently, the stick stealer.

We had lots of fun, it was a lot of people's first time on a four wheeler and I think everybody had fun. We also brought a canoe, that we could go in. I think sienna had lots of out in the canoe. She was pretty cute the whole trip.

Dogs Fixed

Bently and Diesel regret to inform that have they have finally been de-maled. Yes, they had to wear the lampshades, and they were really scared of them when they first got them put on. They didn't even want to move, it was pretty hilarious. But then about an hour later they were running around the house again and kept running into stuff, but they didn't care.

It was kind of funny, they didn't want to potty with them on at first. and when they sniffed the ground out side they looked like little beams of light. I laughed at them pretty hard. They are pretty silly.

Here are some photos to enjoy.

We Finally Got Internet

So we finally got internet at our house. Now we can feel connected to the world, and Tyler can play xbox live, yeah!

Online/Internet

So I haven't posted anything for a while as we have not had internet since we moved. We are finally getting internet next Friday, so I will be able to update the blog with our summer activities.

We got our dogs fixed on Monday, finally. Diesel has already calmed down significantly, but Bently is about the same. So to say the least they look pretty funny with their cones/lampshades on.

I painted the kitchen an awesome green. Rachel came over to help (surprisingly). I still haven't decided if I like it or not.

Moved

So we've finally moved to our house. We've been there about a week and have most of everything settled. There are still of course a few miscellaneous boxes that I haven't cared to go through yet. E-mail us if you are in need of our new address.

We are excited for everyone to come over and take a look.

We made a fun purchase this weekend. We went out and bought a lawn mower. It's not a gas powered one, its one of those old school mowers that is roto cutter type. Tyler was pretty excited about it. I think it'll be good because its going to be easy to store and we won't have to buy gas for it! Yeah, seeing as how much gas is now a days.
