New Puppy

So we got a new puppy on Friday. She's a great dane, so she'll be huge. Tyler found her on KSL and convinced me that he needed another puppy. So far she seems pretty smart and has a cute personality, she knows to potty outside if you take her out. She's already made herself at home. And Shelby seems to like her, she smiles every time she sees her.

We still haven't thought of a name and were thinking maybe Molly or Sydney. Let us know if you have any ideas. For now she's "puppy". (I hope it doesn't end up like that bird we had who was just called "birdie" because we never thought of a name for him)

She really likes Bently's bed, we'll have to get another one.

She's small now, but not for long.

Poor Bently, he doesn't share well, he horded all her toys next to him and underneath him.

Progress on Our Bathroom

This is the new home of the shower. Tyler hasn't grouted and we still need to paint the walls. Any suggestions on a color. I'm excited for it to be done! Finally a normal sized shower.

Shelby Gets Solid Food

So Shelby had her first taste of solid food. The first time she didn't really like it but the second try she loved it. I had to make her two bowl-fulls, and she even wanted to hold the spoon herself. She is such a good eater. Yay!

She loves that spoon. What a big girl.

She wasn't too messy.

Our Bathroom

Tyler got got a little antsy this week being home for just a few days and decided it was time to do the tile in our bathroom. Hopefully it won't take very long, I really don't like being without a potty in our room.

So we decided to take out the teeny shower we had and just combine it with our tub so we will have more room. Tyler didn't fit well in the shower we had so it will now become a linen closet. We will have plenty of photos to show when it is done but here is what has been done so far.

The shower spot after it was ripped out.

The teeny tiny shower that no longer exists, yay!

Soon to be the new home of tile.

Tyler cutting out the shower, he'll tell you this was the most fun part.

Ripping up the carpet was much easier than I thought it would be, and kind of fun.
