Lehman Caves (Memorial Day)

Tyler, Kasey, David, and I went to Lehman Caves for memorial day this past weekend. It's in the great basin national park on the border of Nevada and Utah. We took Highway 6 out there, and believe me there is nothing of interest along this highway.

We stayed in a tent that we bought which is really nice, but definitely not for colder weather. We practically froze to death, but it was still pretty fun.

It was pretty funny, we were driving up the canyon and saw a sign for a "historical ditch" and thought it would be cool to go look at it. We started heading down the mountain and it took us about two miles to figure out that we were actually hiking in the ditch. Obviously it wasn't anything special. I think it must be some sort of Nevada joke.

Just so everyone knows. We will be moving into our house this weekend on Saturday (May 31st). We closed today and are doing our final walk-through tomorrow.

Utah Lake

A couple weeks ago, Tyler and I went to Utah Lake and brought a 4-wheeler along with us. The puppies came too. They enjoyed running around and getting their feet wet. They were kind of bad though. They kept running in front of the 4-wheeler and almost getting run over.

Diesel was especially a turd, he kept side swiping Bentley while they were running along with us. I think Bentley was very annoyed with him.

Our New Car

Tyler and I now have a new addition to the family, in the form of a car. It's a Nissan Rogue, it has AWD (the main reason we bought it). We just got it on Monday, but its been really fun to drive! Plus it still gets good mpg. Rachel's pretty excited to drive to Oregon in it.

Storage Unit

This is a photo of how ridiculous it was to navigate through the storage unit we rented. It was an adventure for sure. We are not looking forward to when we have to move all this stuff out.
